Bogard™ Mobile Ballistic Shield
Bogard™ Ballistic Shield is a Level III, Level III+, Level III++, and Level IV armored mobile barrier with trolley is a new development from Armor USA which addresses the need for a robust, stable, and highly maneuverable shield platform while enabling rapid shield dismounting from the platform for handheld operations.
The two rear wheels have brakes and all four solid rubber wheels have independent steering. The shield is securely mounted onto the Quad Trolley by means of parallel vertical slotted bars and can be mounted and dismounted within seconds without the need for any tools.
Bogard™ Mobile Ballistic Shield is constructed from either 100% UHMW PE or ceramic tiles and is rated to NIJ Level III+ and Level IV. This unofficial level covers the traditional NIJ Level III performance for 6 strikes of 7.62 x 51mm NATO Ball (US designation M80 Ball) and also the widely recognized threat from AK47 MSC 7.62 x 39 mm round, and 7.62 mm AP.
