Ceragard™ Lightweight Ceramic Armor is a composite of high purity Al₂O₃/SIC ceramics and aramid/polyethylene backing, designed to provide lightweight protection against steel core bullets and armor piercing threats.

Ceragard™ can be used for EAV and military APC and LAV against high power armor piercing ballistic threats, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), shrapnel, and artillery fragments. It is engineered to specified shapes for easy installations.
