Hurgard  hurricane resistant glass is highly resistant to penetration and intrusion, and is able to pass the Dade and Broward County hurricane code.
       Hurgard  hurricane resistant glass is a laminated composite of glass and ionoplast, specifically designed to meet the most demanding protective needs for commercial and residential buildings in costal area. It offers 5 times the tear strength and 100 times the rigidity of conventional PVB laminated glasses.
        Typical Hurgard applications include storm doors and panels, operable windows, exterior residential and storefront doors, fixed glazed panels, curtain walls, skylights, all glass entrances, glass handrails, and other glass barriers, which requires maximum protection against such threats as hurricane wind borne missile, large and small debris impacts, physical attacks, smash and grab, Burglary and vandalism.
