Burgard burglary-resistant glass is a laminated composite of glass clad ionoplast, especially designed to provide protection against forced breaking or cutting, thus prevent “smash and grab”types of burglary and vandalism attempts. Burgard offers 100 times the rigidity of conventionalPVB laminated glasses and will stand rigid after repeated impacts.
Burgard is designed to meet the standard of UL972 and shall meet the requirements of ASTM C1036, ANSI79.1, and CPSC 16CFR1201 Catgory I and II.
Typical Burgard applications include residential houses, retail stores, Burgard is not bullet-resistant or prolonged forced-entry resistant andis inappropriate for correctional facilities.
